The Halton Stairlifts Journey
The Halton Stairlifts journey began when stairlift technicians Neil McKenzie and Jon Williams, and accounts executive Kate McKenzie decided to change direction in their careers and use their expertise to provide a top-tier stairlift service. This is when our family-run business was born.
We combined knowledge of the local area with the motto ‘The Company That Cares How You Get Upstairs’, which enabled us to offer customers more for their money. We crafted our services to meet the specific needs of our local customers.
The company has gone from a garage setup to the UK’s leading supplier of new & reconditioned stairlifts in 12 years. Here are the highlights of our journey:
- 2012 – We moved into a 1,000 sq ft warehouse
- 2014 – We moved into a second warehouse, doubling in size to 2,000 sq ft
- 2016 – We moved into our 4,000 sq ft Liverpool warehouse
- 2021 – We took the warehouse next door, leaving us with over 8,000 sq ft
